Sapien joined forces with a $28 billion top-tier healthcare technology provider to revamp the stakeholder engagement at their virtual conference. The conference was for an expected audience of over 500 stakeholders. Our brief was to provide a compelling, engaging, and thought-provoking simulation experience that would highlight the client's position as a thought leader in the healthcare technology space and emphasize their commitment to population health initiatives.
Our task was twofold: to design a multi-round simulation that would act as a powerful catalyst for robust stakeholder engagement and to accurately reflect and articulate stakeholder concerns. This simulation would stimulate interest in the company and its products while aligning with the client's strategic goals. The key themes for exploration included the transition towards value-based care, the role of technology, stakeholder collaboration, and the impact of social determinants of health.
Embarking on an in-depth discovery process, we researched the unique interests of the company's stakeholders and co-developed a custom-designed simulation. Participants adopted roles like payers, providers, doctors, communities, and patients, each equipped with unique context materials. This set-up ensured an immersive experience that resonated with the attendees and initiated productive discussions.
The simulation mimicked real-world challenges and dilemmas that the stakeholders might encounter, stimulating meaningful dialogues and interactions. It served as a tool to examine the company's contributions to the field of Population Health and the larger healthcare ecosystem, effectively positioning the company as a key thought leader in the industry.
The custom-designed simulation experience was a resounding success, transforming the virtual conference into an engaging, dynamic event that stimulated valuable stakeholder interactions. The experience revealed and addressed stakeholder concerns, facilitated an understanding of potential outcomes, and sparked interest in the company and its offerings. The conference further cemented the client's reputation as a pioneering player advancing Population Health initiatives.
This engagement showcased the transformative potential of our simulation platform in facilitating stakeholder engagement, elevating a company's reputation, and aligning with its strategic development goals. The insights gathered and discussions fostered during this event underlined the promise of an extended, more detailed simulation experience in the future.
